Bonnyville kept it western this weekend with an action packed rodeo, June 6-9.

Guests slipped into their finery to formally celebrate the contributions of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) at the Gala held on May 25 at the JJ Par Sports Centre.

The Ohana Centre hosted a family day on June 1, where local services were highlighted along-side an array of children's activities.

On May 25, the Bonnyville Farmers’ Market hosted youth vendors at the C2 centre.

The communities of Bonnyville, Ardmore, and Beaver River congregated at the Bonnyville Agricultural Society ground for their annual 4-H District Beef Show and Sale on May 31.

On June 2, Ardmore School hosted its popular rubber duck race on the Beaver River, fundraising for a variety of causes at the rural school.

Inspector Charlene Skinner, manager of public safety, gave a quarterly report on May 28, at the last regular MD of Bonnyville council meeting, noting an increase in dog control related calls for service.
