The MD of Bonnyville’s public works shop held an open house for National Public Works Week, May 25.

Bonnyville Centralized High School student Esther Yang placed fourth in the 2024 Caring for our Watersheds contest with her Waste to Wash project. 

May is sexual violence awareness month (SVAM), and the Dragonfly Centre, Bonnyville’s sexual violence support service, has been working to create awareness around the topic over the past few weeks.

The Bonnyville EMS hall opened its doors to the public on May 22. There was a free barbecue, a showcase of some of the equipment including an ambulance, and activities and giveaways for children.

The Beaver River Beef 4-H Club held its club show on May 11 at the Bonnyville Rodeo Grounds.

BONNYVILLE - The newly established Glendon Library has requested funding to help support its efforts, which was recently approved by the MD of Bonnyville. The request came forward during the May 14 MD of Bonnyville council meeting.

BONNYVILLE - At 1:30 a.m. on May 17, Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a residence on the 4800 block of 49 Ave as a man was attempting to break into a home.

On May 16 , Bonnyville RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in Bonnyville, locating drugs and weapons.

Stepping forward in 1983 as a volunteer, Dr. David Skuba has been serving with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Bonnyville as a casual worker for over four decades.

Two officers who shot at a suspect on March 9, 2022, in Kehewin Cree Nation, were found to have acted lawfully and "properly in the execution of their duties," according to a report released by ASIRT.
