On May 25, the Bonnyville Farmers’ Market hosted youth vendors at the C2 centre.

The communities of Bonnyville, Ardmore, and Beaver River congregated at the Bonnyville Agricultural Society ground for their annual 4-H District Beef Show and Sale on May 31.

On June 2, Ardmore School hosted its popular rubber duck race on the Beaver River, fundraising for a variety of causes at the rural school.

Inspector Charlene Skinner, manager of public safety, gave a quarterly report on May 28, at the last regular MD of Bonnyville council meeting, noting an increase in dog control related calls for service.

The Bonnyville District Beef Show and Sale persisted through some wild weather on May 31 to showcase the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Bonnyville RCMP charged two people following an investigation into vandalism that occurred at a neighbourhood playground in April.

During an MD of Bonnyville council meeting on May 14, the Bonnyville Agricultural Society was approved for $19,804 to rent tents, prepare the ground for the tents, and purchase panels, for the upcoming 4-H District Show and Sale.

This year's edition of the Bonnyville Pro Rodeo and Chuckwagon Races will take over the rodeo grounds June 6-9, offering the chance for the community to be entertained through four days of action.

Although concerns were heard regarding the expansion of a campsite in the MD of Bonnyville, council opted to move ahead with approving the request following discussions during a recent public hearing. 

On May 28, Esther Quiambao, general manager of planning and community service, presented a reformation of the MD of Bonnyville's grant process that was approved by council.
