Last spring, large pallets of vital gear for firefighters and first responders were delivered to Ukraine on behalf of Lac La Biche County’s Fire Department. Earlier this month the department was recognized for its efforts. 

Strathcona Resources Ltd. has stepped up to be the headline contributor for the proposed regional performing arts theatre project to be created in Bonnyville. The agreement made with the Clayton Bellamy Foundation for the Arts comes with a $250,000 investment over a three-year period.
