RCMP are investigating a string of suspicious fires that have occurred in recent weeks in Cold Lake and surrounding areas. A fire that spread to three residential properties on Sept. 2, has been deemed 'suspicious' following an initial investigation.

The Elk Point emergency department will be closed from 7 p.m. on Sept/ 6 to 7 a.m. on Sept. 7, due to a lack of registered nursing staff.

Cold Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for an overnight break-in and alleged theft from the Muster Point Restaurant. The incident happened overnight on Aug. 27.
