Emotions ran high as the St. Paul Lions and the Cold Lake Royals battled it out during a Wheatland Football League semi-final match on Friday night.

School Divisions across the Lakeland continue to face a student transportation crisis. Conseil Scolaire Centre-Est, Lakeland Catholic School Division, Northern Lights Public Schools and St. Paul Education all face unique challenges, and each are trying to find the right solution to get kids to class.

The Bonnyville and District SPCA are introducing two adoptable pets for Animal Health month. A two-year-old cat, Alley May, and a two-year-old dog, Pheobe.
