Lac La Biche RCMP are asking eyewitnesses to come forward regarding an incident that took place Friday at an event for Lac La Biche Summer Days. 

This year's St. Paul Friday Night Slo-Pitch League wrapped up another season on July 29.

The National Mutt Day is just around the corner – a celebration of mixed breed dogs. The campaign began in 2005 to bring awareness for mixed breed dogs in shelters waiting for their new home. You could adopt one at the St. Paul Animal Shelter.

From July 25 to 27, St. Paul welcomed the two judges from the National Communities in Bloom (CiB) organization.

Saddle Lake RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old last seen on July 22.

In July, the community of Myrnam celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Myrnam and District Agricultural Society and the Myrnam Senior Citizens Centre during the Myrnam Fun Days. 

After a stretch of hot weather and several fire bans being put in place across the province in July, having a campfire over the August long weekend will be a possibility for many as many of the fire bans in the Lakeland region have now been removed.

After hosting an open house on July 9 and offering residents the chance to offer their opinion in an online survey, the results of the community engagement around a proposed dog park for the Town of St. Paul were presented to council on July 22. 

The Town of St. Paul will assist the St. Paul Family Day Home Society with grant writing and finding potential funding opportunities to help fund needed maintenance for the non-profit's building, as the long-running society continues to work to fulfill childcare demands in the community. 

The visit was part of the Minister’s broader efforts to engage with communities in Alberta, particularly rural areas like the Lakeland region, including Bonnyville and Cold Lake.
