The top presenters and speakers from six 4-H Communications competitions across the St. Paul 4-H District took to the stage of the Ashmont Agriplex on Sunday for one more round of judging for the District championship hosted by Boscombe 4-H Multi Club.

With the spring seeding season just a couple of months away, the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) is reminding the farming community to keep safety in mind by planning accordingly.

Two people are facing several charges after Vermilion RCMP located a vehicle in the community that had been stolen from the St. Paul area.

William Potratz of St. Paul, who currently plays for the Alberta Wolfpack U15 in the Premier Hockey League (PHL), will be playing in the U15 division with the North American Selects. 

After a stand-out regular season and a strong first round of playoffs, the St. Paul Canadiens are now out of the North Eastern Alberta Jr. B Hockey League (NEAJBHL) playoffs.

St. Paul 4-H Multi-Club 2024 Communication Event took place on Feb. 25 at Portage College in St. Paul.

Wind Concerns, a northeast Alberta-based movement against industrial wind turbines, and the Rural Municipalities of Alberta, voiced support for the new policies.

On Feb. 26, the St. Paul Barracudas Swim Club held its second mini-meet of the season at the St. Paul Aquatic Centre, giving swimmers a change to see how they have improved over the course of the season. 

From March 21 to 24, the community will be the hub for the division’s provincial tournament, set to take place at the Clancy Richard Arena.
