STARS takes stabbing victim sent to Edmonton hospital

GLENDON – The Pyrogy Capital of the World is holding its annual Pyrogy Festival on Sept. 9 in the Village of Glendon at Pyrogy Park, along with a Cruise Night the same evening to make for a full day of activities.

The annual beef-on-a-bun lunch at Servus Credit Union once again offered a lunch-time meal and live music.

Council also discussed the purchase of a higher quality oil to be mixed for a cold mix, to be applied on a three-kilometre stretch of road at Township 590, as well as a request to remove standing dead and down trees on Municipal School Reserve (MSR) land from a resident. 

The 2023 Cornerstone Co-op Chili Cook-off winners were named on Thursday after a morning of spicy competition.

Following an appeal hearing held on Aug. 17 in St. Paul, a decision previously made by the Town of St. Paul's Municipal Planning Commission to deny a downtown liquor store will stand.
