It started with a Winnipeg Jets game, and it's ending with a 1,200 kilometre journey across three provinces. Rance Cardinal of Saddle Lake is walking from his current home, Lac Seul First Nation in Sioux Lookout, Ont. to Humboldt, Sask.

Truck sought following break and enter

On March 11, between 2:45 and 3:05 a.m., a suspect broke into a compound at Fountain Tire on 52 Avenue in St. Paul. The suspect stole several tires from the compound and loaded them into a truck. The white truck is believed to a Chevrolet or GMC.

The old Spedden School is now just a pile of rubble, following a structure fire on April 14. Smoky Lake County Fire Rescue Chief Scott Franchuk confirmed that the Vilna Fire Department responded to the structure fire in Spedden at 10:21 p.m.
