St. Paul RCMP advise that the shelter in place in Saddle Lake Cree Nation has now been lifted

The St. Paul Desna Ukrainian Dance Club held its annual spring concert on April 6, wrapping up this year’s dance season for most dancers.

ACFA Régionale de Saint-Paul held a cabane à sucre on April 7.

April is national Oral Health Month - a campaign dedicated to raising awareness on maintaining good dental hygiene. Dr. Julie Miller, a St. Paul dentist, shared some tips on what preventive measures can be taken to maintain good oral health.

Over 20 vehicles and residents from across the Lakeland region participated in the pre-planned ‘Axe the Tax’ parade in St. Paul. 

A slew of oiling road projects were approved by County of St. Paul council during the last regular Public Works meeting on March 26. 

The St. Paul and District Arts Foundation was awarded $38,692 from the Alberta government to upgrade its facilities, through the Minister of Arts, Culture and Status of Women.

A large renovation project will close the St. Paul McDonalds location for a month. The restaurant is expected to reopen in May.

County of St. Paul will continue its partnership with STARS Air Ambulance, increasing its annual contribution to a fixed rate of $14,000 for 2024 and 2025. 

The Town of St. Paul has issued a development permit for the establishment of a funeral home in the Parellel Lanes Bowling Alley building located in downtown St. Paul that in the future could potentially include a crematorium.
