On Sunday, performers from Fame Dance Studio in Bonnyville and Lloydminster will be hosting a charity showcase at the Bonnyville Senior Drop-in Centre to raise money for the local SPCA. The evening will have a wide variety of dance genres from classical ballet to hip hop.

'There wasn't really anything being offered in our local area for that age group, and we want to give our kids everything we can. But at the same time, we want to make sure that they're earning it and that they are putting the work in,' says Lakeland Lightnings Head Coach Joel Miller.

All together, four Bonnyville volunteer firefighters climbed 5,424 stairs and collected just over $6,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Firefighter Stairclimb.
