On March 11, RCMP conducted several patrols throughout the Bonnyville jurisdiction focused on traffic safety.

On March 17, Iron River and La Corey firefighters provided medical assistance while waiting for an available ambulance.

Earlier this week a passing motorist spotted and called in a house fire east of town, before stopping to see if anyone was still inside the building. The blaze has since been deemed suspicious and both the RCMP and Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority continue to investigate the cause.

After more than a month and ongoing challenges to replace the pool’s salination tank, the Town of Bonnyville has announced the reopening of the pool will be March 19.
