RCMP arrested Joshua Lawrence Desjarlais in connection to an attempted carjacking that took place in Kehewin Cree Nation on Jan. 26. Police continue their search for Laine Solway-Martial.

On Jan. 25, the Town of Bonnyville council approved a 2021-2031 Strategic Plan that focuses on five main areas: Economic Growth, Recreation and Wellness, Communication Strategy, Value Added Services, and Service Excellence.

Residents are asked to avoid the area of 56 St. and 54 Ave. as ATCO Power crews work to address the issue.
