In the spirit of National Public Works Week, both the Town of Bonnyville and the MD of Bonnyville hosted Public Works open houses, offering residents an opportunity to see the equipment used to service the community - and meet the hard-working staff. 

Some homes and businesses in Bonnyville were evacuated in the morning of May 27 after a "hazardous material spill" occurred, according to information from the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA).

A pilot is safe after crashing a private float plane into a lake near Range Road 482A and Township Road 641.

The funding was provided through the provincial Indigenous Primary Health Care Innovation Fund.

National Paramedic Services Week runs from May 18-24, and Alberta Health Services (AHS) recently took the opportunity to thank all paramedics in Alberta.
