Residents in Cold Lake may noticed an increase in CH-146 Griffon flights from 417 Combat Support Squadron as exercise "Northern Grizzly," takes place at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Cold Lake, Jan. 26 to 28.

In a landmark decision aimed at helping community safety and emergency response capabilities, the MD of Bonnyville has given the green light for the construction of the Cherry Grove Fire Hall.  

On Jan. 13, René Richard and Thomas Varughese were inducted into the Cold Lake Hall of Fame.
