The Wise Old Owls came out as the winning team from the 17th Annual Quiz Night at École Holy Cross Elementary School in Cold Lake.

Alberta’s Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors announced $5 million of government funding to plan improvements to Highway 28. Areas of focus will range from intersection upgrades to the addition of passing lanes. A twinned highway from Bonnyville to Cold Lake may also be in the cards.
