Fires at all corners of the region have had fire departments and forestry crews busy over the windy weekend.

Lac La Biche County fire departments were kept busy last weekend battling numerous fires throughout the county.

A discussion on management of the Bold Center has lead Lac La Biche County council to consider re-creating a regional recreation board.

Lac La Biche County council has agreed to sell the property at 10308-103 St. purchased by the previous council, with the buyer paying $131,000. That’s less than half of what the county originally paid for the property.
