On Sunday, July 27, 33 members of the Lac La Biche Dodgers ball players attended a home game between the Edmonton Riverhawks and the visiting Wenatchee AppleSox. The players got to meet the team and coaches, with four of them serving as 'bat kids' during the game, retrieving balls and collecting foul balls.

RCMP are hoping to track down a 20-year-old woman recently reported missing to Lac La Biche RCMP.

The event took place Saturday at the Lakeland Agricom.

The incident occurred on the evening of Monday, Aug. 19.

Fans of Portage College Voyageurs sports may have another team to root for in the not-so-distant future. 

Days after reinstating a fire restriction due to dry conditions, Lac La Biche County, following recent precipitation, has lifted this restriction. According to the Lac La Biche County social media page, fire permits will continue to be issued.
