A St. Paul centennial, Rose Petruk, commemorated her 104th birthday on May 15 at Sunnyside Manor. 

There will be a traditional powwow in Lac La Biche this August, marking the first time there has been an Indigenous led powwow in the community in many years. 

BONNYVILLE – Town of Bonnyville Mayor Elisa Brosseau declared May 26 – 30 as Alberta Rural Health Week in the Town of Bonnyville, commenting on the vital role healthcare providers and volunteers play in taking care of the community.

The event was held on May 15 at McArthur Place in Lac La Biche.

Extendicare Bonnyville hosted a fundraiser event in support of the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
