County council aims for 2025 fall opening of the new $27 million Aquatic Centre project in Lac La Biche

With a number of infrastructure projects slated to improve Lac La Biche County, a new business improvement pilot program meant to encourage and support businesses in the hamlets of Lac La Biche and Plamondon is making headway.

The St. Paul Tennis Club held a second week of tennis lessons for youth, July 25-29.

Five acute care beds have been temporarily closed at the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre recently, while 10 remain closed for over a year in St. Paul. The Cold Lake hospital also continues to experience disruptions at its emergency department.
