Three -year construction closure at Lac La Biche youth assessment facility

Bonnyville RCMP continue to investigate a string of property damage that saw at least four businesses and three vehicles vandalized on June 4.

Celebrate Pride St. Paul took place on Sunday afternoon at Reunion Station. A mix of indoor and outdoor activities were offered under bright sunny skies.

On Wednesday, a crowd gathered in the foyer of the Bonnyville Lakeland Credit Branch to witness the unveiling of a Lakeland Wall of Distinction. The first inductee to be honoured with a plaque was the late Victor Ringuette.

RCMP are asking members of the public to share any information they may have in relation to a break and enter that occurred at the Lakeland Humane Society in Cold Lake overnight on May 29.

A number of top three finishes, along with a handful of first-place awards, were handed out to Lakeland This Week at the AWNA awards banquet, held June 3.

On June 7, there was a heavy police presence in the area of 8th Ave. in Cold Lake North following a report of a stolen vehicle being spotted. Following an investigation, RCMP members arrested three men from the Cold Lake area for being in possession of the stolen vehicle as well as a firearm that was allegedly found in their possession.

Erin Walker, a Cold Lake High School graduate from La Corey, received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Citizenship Award for her contributions to the community through volunteering, public service and leadership.
