This year's St. Paul Athletics Association (SPAA) junior high basketball champions were crowned on March 2 following two days of action.

The St. Paul Canadiens lost the first two games in round two of NEAJBHL playoffs. They will play Game 3 in Vermilion tonight.

ELK POINT - It’s only half way through the month of February but some of the minor hockey playoffs are already starting. The early star is due in part to the provincial finals. Teams no longer compete in the zone as they did in the past.
