To the Editor: This is in regards to the letter entitled, ‘Get on with real business,’ in the Dec. 4 edition of the St. Paul Journal.

To the Editor: The media has done an excellent job of covering the Redford-Zwozdesky legislature gong show or “Tobacco-Gate.” It has been said many times that in politics one hand washes the other.

With the season of indulgence upon us, maybe we should try taking some time to wonder where the things we're indulging in might be coming from.

Some might say I grew up a little bit sheltered. I lived in a town of 500 people where everyone knew a little bit too much about you and your family's history. But my life has sure changed since then, especially when it comes to holidays.
