A new RCMP detachment commander in St. Paul is expected to be coming in the next few months. And Sgt. Bobby Burgess, previously the Operations NCO for St. Paul Detachment, has officially accepted a position as a District Advisory NCO (DANCO).

Located along Highway 36, about 20 km northwest of St. Paul, Cork Hall was incorporated on Nov. 30, 1948, and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. 

Multiple complaints received

A junior high badminton tournament for student-athletes in Grades 6 to 9 took place in St. Paul on April 13.

Elks lodge members from Elk Point, Hairy Hill, Lac La Biche, St. Pau; and Vegreville came together on April 13 for a district meeting.

Lynda Young volunteers for many community groups and events in St. Paul and in the region, hoping to help connect people. “The world is so big... that it is so easy to feel disconnected, isolated and alone,” says Young, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
