Between July 2020 and June 2023, 34 bank repossessions and 48 bank sales took place in the Town of Bonnyville.

A display of civic engagement was noticeable in Bonnyville on Monday as the "Axe the Tax" family parade took to the streets, marking the beginning of the "Axe the Carbon Tax" movement in the Lakeland.  

The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs held the fourth annual ice fishing derby on March 23 at Moose Lake and Angling Lake, capping off the 2023-24 hockey season.

Students in Grade 9 to 12 at École Notre Dame High School (NDHS) presented their fifth annual drama production to members of the Bonnyville community on March 20 and 21. The play was a tribute to the 1960s. See gallery below.

M.D. of Bonnyville Briefs: The development of a Class II landfill on Crown land north of Crane Lake in the MD of Bonnyville was approved by MD of Bonnyville council during the March 12 council meeting.

Praught formerly coached the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League. Prior to that, he spent eight years with the Notre Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan Midget League.
