From speeders on MD of Bonnyville roadways to aggressive dogs and dumpster divers – the municipality’s Public Safety department does not lack for variety when it comes to the calls they log in the course of a year.

The first part of February was a “particularly dangerous” stretch for Bonnyville RCMP. According to Staff Sgt. Sarah Parke, members were involved in several high-risk incidents during the week of Feb. 9 to 16.

This year's men's and ladies' bonspiel hosted by the Bonnyville Curling Club drew in 16 men's teams and nine ladies' teams to the rink.
