In the aftermath of destructive fires in Cherry Grove, Ward 6 Coun. Ben Fadeyiw says it is past time for the hamlet to have its own fire hall.

Women from the St. John’s United Church Women’s Auxiliary held a donation drive to provide much-needed items to the Dragonfly Counselling and Support Centre. The items provided will support both counselling clients and those needing police and court support.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying those who may have been involved in breaking into and stealing items from a liquor store in Ardmore early Friday morning.

The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority and the Bonnyville and District FCSS hosted community barbecues and information campaign on emergency preparedness with their partnering municipalities to raise awareness during Emergency Preparedness Week.

Every second day a vehicle is stolen within the Bonnyville area, says Bonnyville RCMP Staff Sergeant. Many of these vehicle thefts are crimes of opportunity and are preventable.

Edmonton police have arrested a husband and wife for being in possession of two vehicles that were allegedly stolen in the Town of Bonnyville. Charges are pending against the pair.

Men’s health is at the forefront of the Lakeland Motorcycle Ride for Dad mission to increase awareness about prostate cancer screening. A charity ride scheduled to take place on June 17 will raise money for prostate cancer research while also raising awareness.
