On July 12, Bonnyville firefighters from Station 5 responded to two separate structures fires. While one private residence was destroyed, a second structure fire was brought under control by staff prior to fire crews' arrival.

The cutting of a green ribbon signalled the grand opening of the MD of Bonnyville's Shaw House Visitor Information and Interpretive Centre. The newly upgraded facility will house the M.D. Trading Post - an artisan market, an interpretive centre, a tourist information centre, a summertime concession, a community boardroom and the offices for the municipality's Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. 

Bonnyville RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a 46-year-old aggravated assault suspect, who police believe may be in the Cold Lake area.

Rubber hit the pavement this weekend at the Bonnyville Regional Airport for the annual Bonnyville Gear Grabbers Races.

Bonnyville SPCA says farewell to two of its senior cats who were diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). The orange tabbies were flown out of the Bonnyville airport by Canadian Wings of Rescue on July 3, and are getting comfortable in their new home in Maple Ridge, B.C.

Charges related to firearm possession, possession of a stolen vehicle, and failing to comply with a release order were laid after RCMP arrested four people alleged to have been travelling in a stolen truck on the morning of July 2.
