LAKELAND – A Lakeland business, 350 Farms, has been nominated for the 2025 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction (ABAD) in the newcomer entrepreneur category.

COLD LAKE - City of Cold Lake council voted to approve entering a team into the 2025 Ronald McDonald House Lakeland Charity Golf Classic, an annual fundraiser that supports families relying on the services of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The Road to Hope community support foundation, which transports cancer patients in the counties of Lac La Biche and Athabasca to appointments, currently has four drivers in the Lac La Biche area.
