Numerous agencies are reminding the public to exercise caution when they spend time with water activities this summer following the drowning death of two people over the Heritage Day long weekend. 

ST. PAUL – The community has until August 14 to check out the free art exhibit of a young St. Paul-based artist at the St. Paul and District Arts Foundation.

Sue deMoissac of St. Paul has been riding for nine years since the challenge began. In the beginning, one of her nieces heard about the challenge and asked deMoissac if she wanted to accompany her, which she did. 

An increase in costs related to running recreational facilities is being felt by the Mallaig Ag Society. The non-profit recently took time to speak with County of St. Paul council, relaying how despite being a very busy organization, paying some bills has been a challenge. 

Members of the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) gathered in front of the St. Paul Courthouse on July 26 as part of a province-wide series of rallies, known as Time for Action rallies, that have been taking place.

Two buses filled with residents made their way down gravel roads, stopping at various homesteads in the Lafond area on July 28, southwest of St. Paul.

Lac La Biche RCMP are asking eyewitnesses to come forward regarding an incident that took place Friday at an event for Lac La Biche Summer Days. 

This year's St. Paul Friday Night Slo-Pitch League wrapped up another season on July 29.

The National Mutt Day is just around the corner – a celebration of mixed breed dogs. The campaign began in 2005 to bring awareness for mixed breed dogs in shelters waiting for their new home. You could adopt one at the St. Paul Animal Shelter.

From July 25 to 27, St. Paul welcomed the two judges from the National Communities in Bloom (CiB) organization.
