After months of anticipation, the newly renovated Genmec ACL Hall, formerly known as the Apgriplex, has opened to the public following a Temporary Occupancy order provided by the provincial fire authority.

The curling season has wrapped up following the last scheduled bonspiel that saw 18 mixed teams compete in four events at the Bonnyville Curling Club this weekend.

Council chambers for the Town of Bonnyville will not be seeing a technology upgrade following a split vote that would defeat a motion to add 11 monitors, one for each council members’ workstation and two for administration’s tables.

In 2022, volunteer firefighters with the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority responded to 146 medical assistance calls, which was significantly higher than the number of active fires that crews responded to last year.

Lakeland teams return from Alberta championships with golden rewards

Pontiac Park was bumping on Saturday afternoon, has residents arrived in droves to celebrate the Town of Bonnyville's 75th anniversary of being incorporated at a town.

The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs have survived to play another round in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) playoffs.

Due to conferences that MD of Bonnyville staff is scheduled to attend during the week of April 24, the regular meetings of council have been rearranged to ensure at least one regular meeting takes place in April.
