It’s no huge surprise to Colin and Mary Balan, who raise cattle and performance horses for barrel racing and team roping in the Hoselaw area southwest of Bonnyville, that their sons Walker, 22, and Carter, 21, will compete in the LRA finals this weekend.

Several vehicles were reported stolen over the past week in the Bonnyville RCMP detachment area.

A property that has been seen as a safety concern for those living and travelling along 54 Avenue in the Town of Bonnyville has been cleaned up following the execution of a Notice of Entry Order that was given by the municipality after a somewhat lengthy legal process.

On Monday night, an unexpected fire broke out in the burn cell at the Ardmore Transfer Station. When fire crews arrived at the scene, they saw that the fire was safely contained in the burn cell and remained on scene until MD of Bonnyville staff remediated the fire.
